Jesus Christ Superstar is a groundbreaking rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, set during the final days of Jesus Christ’s life and told from the perspective of Judas Iscariot. The musical explores the complex relationships and struggles between Jesus, his disciples, Mary Magdalene, and the Roman Empire through its iconic rock score, featuring well-known songs like “Superstar” and “I Don’t Know How to Love Him”.
